I did another drawing today after my boring schoolwork.
anyways, this is a drawing of Arata x Ayumi again.
I got the idea from this imagination that I had about Ayumi got tired from work and university lessons one day and Arata was there for Ayumi to rely on. seeing Ayumi not as cheerful as she was allll the time, Arata felt Ayumi is so vulnerable and decided to stay over at her place and just be by her side… something like that.

I made this one as an advance for Christmas.
its pretty simple but it takes effort and a lot if time to draw, color, scan, edit.
also, there’s a story behind this couple.
Arata, use to love his childhood best friend, Risako, for a long time, but couldn’t get her because she has boyfriend and was in a serious relationship. then in high school, he met Ayumi through Risako (Ayumi and Risako are close friends) in high school entrance ceremony, Arata and Risako are in the same class but Ayumi is in a different class. he didn’t fell in love with Ayumi that time though.
In their third year of high school, the love begins. One day, Ayumi broke up with her boyfriend on their date, saying that because Ayumi is busy with her work and studies, she didn’t have time for him and their love grew apart. Arata, who just came back from his part time work that saturday afternoon saw Ayumi and her boyfriend from afar. the boyfriend left Ayumi and Arata could see Ayumi didn’t look too good so he walked towards her.
Arata brought Ayumi to a place where there are less people around and they sat at the bench while Ayumi told him what just happened. Arata being a good friend he is, sooth her until she stop crying.
Days goes by, He kept in contact with Ayumi, constantly asking how she’s doing. then few weeks later, he kept denying he was falling in love with her. He consulted his friend, Risako about it but still, didn’t admit his feelings for Ayumi because no matter what he still felt like he was more likely inlove with his best friend. he cares for Ayumi but only as a friend but that just it.
After thinking a lot about it, Arata finally let his old feelings of being inlove with his best friend go away. and then he realize he did fell inlove with Ayumi. the urge to protect her from crying, the constant messages and calls, the laughs and smiles he made her did with his jokes or comforts. always waiting for eachother to talk either after work or club activities.
in the end, before he even want to confess, a week before the summer holidays, Ayumi confessed her feelings for him when they were casually talking on the rooftop. Ayumi on the other hand didn’t expect Arata to like her too because she knows Arata was inlove with his best friend but she was wrong when Arata, with a casual mood, told her he likes her too.
and there the love began.
